George Clooney arrested, handcuffed, outside Sudan embassy in D.C.

At the moment of his arrest outside of Sudan’s embassy in Washington, D.C., Oscar-winning actor George Clooney told The Daily Caller that he did not discuss the planned protest during his Thursday meeting with President Obama, and said that he was most “concerned” about his father who was also in handcuffs.

TheDC asked Clooney, the co-founder of the Satellite Sentinel Project, if he accomplished what he had hoped for at the protest.

“We’ll find out, won’t we? Sorry officer. It’s a long process so we’ll see,” said Clooney, in handcuffs.

“I’m concerned with my father, making sure he’s okay right now, you know. He’s 78 years old and never been arrested before.”

Whitney Houston, superstar of records, films, dies

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music’s queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday. She was 48.

Beverly Hills police Lt. Mark Rosen told KABC-TV that Houston died in her room on the fourth floor of the Beverly Hilton. Her body remained in the hotel and Beverly Hills detectives were investigating.

Houston’s publicist, Kristen Foster, said Saturday that the cause of her death was unknown.

There’s No Limit To What Mark Wahlberg Can Do

In the wake of Mark Wahlberg letting us know that 9/11 wouldn’t have went down like it did if he had been there, some readers on Sherdog created this thread to document all the others times when things wouldn’t have went down like they did.
